- Godwin Osagie is the Managing Partner/C.E.O of G. E. Osagie & Co. and serves as the Lead Client Service Partner for our Audit and Tax engagements. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a certified tax consultant and has varied experiences across industries. He has over 22 years of post qualification experience in auditing and accountancy and exposure to financial services, oil and gas, construction, retail and manufacturing industries as well as not-for-profit organizations. He has also been involved in the review of organizational structures, evaluation of internal control systems, installation and systems documentation for various organizations. He had 15 years professional experience with Akintola Williams Deloitte before he teamed up with other group of chartered accountants to establish the firm in October 2011.
He is a member of Professional Practice Monitoring Team of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Countries of his work experience include Nigeria, South Africa, United States of America and Canada.
- James Oguns is the Managing Partner of our Lagos office. He is a seasoned professional with over 19 years of experience in the field of finance and accounting in Nigeria. Before joining the firm in 2013, he was in Deloitte as a Risk and Reputation Manager where he was involved in the audit of some of the firm’s high profile clients and engagements in Nigeria.
James is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria. He holds a Bachelors’ degree in Economics (with 2nd class, upper division) from the University of Benin, Benin-City and M.Sc. in Finance from the University of Lagos. He has also attended various management trainings in and outside Nigeria.
He has made series of presentations in various In-House-Training programmes organized on IFRS for Deloitte and the Firm. He is also a resource person at ICAN IFRS Certification Training Programmes.
His sector expertise: financial institutions, construction, consumer business, government agencies, oil & gas and NGOs.
James Oguns who is the Risk Management & Compliance Partner of the Firm is currently a member of the Members’ Education and Training Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He has equally served the Institute in the Research and Technical Committee in the past.
James is the author of a Management Accounting textbook titled Management Accounting: A Simplified Approach.
- Nkiru Oladebo is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). She was admitted as a Partner in February 2014. Before then, she was a Senior Manager with the firm. Nkiru has attained a varied amount of experience as an auditor and accounting consultant in industries ranging from construction, oil and gas, banking, manufacturing, not-for-profit organisations and digital broadcasting, to name a few. She is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Abuja with an MSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom in view. She had over four years training experience with Akintola Williams Deloitte before joining the firm in January 2013.
